With 20 years of IT experience specializing in System Designing, Installation, Configuration, and Administration, Farrukh is a highly motivated and creative professional committed to achieving job objectives. He possesses strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, along with a professional attitude that values teamwork and fosters effective working relationships. Additionally, he has excellent research and development capabilities and proud to be the third Pakistani to create Open-Source Computer Based Trainings (CBTs).

Farrukh's extensive expertise in IT infrastructure management is evident from his adeptness in high-availability cluster design, governmental coordination in Pakistan, and deployment of advanced technologies. His hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and RedHat OpenShift places him at the cutting edge of containerization and orchestration, essential for modern IT ecosystems. His skill set extends to cloud computing, performance testing, and managing diverse web hosting platforms, reflecting his adaptability. Farrukh's comprehensive knowledge in various operating environments (Linux/Windows), DevOps strategies, load balancing, virtualization, and IT security contributes to building robust and secure IT systems. His practical experience with LAMP and server management underscores his technical proficiency, ensuring the seamless operation of IT infrastructures and networks.

One of his significant accomplishments includes the design, deployment, and secure maintenance of a fault-tolerant, highly available cluster for Pakistan’s Logistics Management Information System (LMIS), which is hosted in the National Telecommunication Corporation's (NTC) government-owned cloud data center and is extensively utilized by various government health departments throughout Pakistan. He set up the real-time data replication of the LMIS to establish a disaster recovery site situated 300 kilometers away from the primary location. Furthermore, he successfully implemented and oversaw more than 30 health management information systems, including Infectious Diseases MIS, Covid-MIS, Contraceptive MIS, Laboratory MIS, Tuberculosis MIS, and DHIS-2, within the data centers of both NTC and the National Institute of Health (NIH). Farrukh has contributed significantly to government and international organizations such as Electronic Government Directorate (EGD), John Snow Incorporated (JSI) and Chemonics International through Federal Government Data Center (FGDC), USAID DELIVER and USAID GHSC-PSM Projects respectively.

Currently he is serving as Director IT Systems & Security at Development Synergies International Private Limited, where he is managing the IT strategy and infrastructure to guarantee that the organization's technology framework is both strong and secure, while also ensuring it aligns seamlessly with the business objectives. This involves establishing effective communication between IT and business units, outlining common goals, and creating a cohesive strategy that aligns with the company's vision and growth.
