Currently leading the technological developments and designing future roadmaps of Development Synergies International (Pvt) Ltd as CTO, Muhammad Ahmed is an energetic and results-oriented tech enthusiast with over 14 years of experience. He holds degrees of Master’s in Computer Science with specialization in Intelligent Information Systems (IIS), and Bachelors of Science in Software Engineering with majors in Enterprise Systems Engineering. He is Certified in Data Sciences for Health Informatics from Johns Hopkins University, and holds a certification in Pandemic Analytics from the University of Pittsburgh. He is also Certified in Procurement & Supply Chain Management from UNDP-ESH and JSI, and multiple other certifications in health informatics, software development, management, implementation, ethical hacking and networking.

His leadership skills have led to achieve timely and quality milestones for multiple departments. He has been part of the development team for 80+ systems and has led the development of 40+ software systems, including public and private sector large-scale applications. He has been the lead developer and implementer of multiple software systems, including LMIS, ID-MIS, DHIS, DHIS-2, ECR, IMU, D-Talk, DRAP Import Export System, EHS, MNCH-MIS, M&E, VoIP Business, SMS and USSD Based Reporting Systems.

Mr. Ahmed has strengthened Pakistan's Health Supply Chain by impactful contributions for implementation of Pakistan's Logistics & Inventory Management Systems. He has worked towards Global Health Security by providing his services as Lead Architect for Pakistan's first Infectious Diseases Surveillance Platform, capturing case based data from 50+ Public & 55+ Private Diagnostic Labs. He was also the Provincial Lead for Data Validation Surveys of Health facilities in Punjab and KP during 2013-14.

He has been part of the management team, having managed $50m of USAID funding as Director Systems & Analytics, making impactful changes in governance practices by implementing Evidence-Based Decision-Making Systems.
